Held each summer, the ASCP Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting has a strong and loyal attendance base with over 150 pharmacists attending each year from Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. The meeting’s cutting edge educational offerings as well as its busy trade show keeps this a very affordable regional meeting and a highly successful event.

The 25th ASCP Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting, being held Friday, August 3, 2018 through Sunday, August 5, 2018 is returning to the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport Hotel in Linthicum Heights, Maryland will continue that tradition of providing educational offerings that allow you to enhance your pharmacy career and expand your practice.

This year’s CE lineup is schedule to include 15 hours of programs on anticoagulation, transitions of care, antibiotic stewardship, immunization, an chronic and chronic kidney disease, as well as our updates on new drugs, ASCP, legislation and regulations.

In addition, you will have an opportunity to network with colleagues as well as get information on new pharmaceutical products and technologies during the trade show on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.

This program will discuss a GLP-1 receptor agonist indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control for specific patients. Pharmacist CE: Attendees can earn a maximum of 15.0 contact hours (1.5 CEU’s) for verified participation in the educational programming of the 2018 ASCP MIDATLANTIC REGIONAL MEETING.

PharmCon is approved by the Accreditation Council on Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. To receive credit, participants must legibly print their name and initial the roster at each session attended. Statements of credit for attended programs can be accessed on-line at www.pharmcon.com. Please allow 7-10 days following the program before retrieving your certificate.

Learning Objectives

ACPE LogoThe American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. To receive continuing pharmacy education credits for the sessions, A Collaborative Approach to Falls Prevention: Using the ASCP/NCOA Toolkit and ASCP Legislative and Regulatory Update, participants must complete the evaluations online through the ASCP Learning Center. The CPE evaluation instructions will be available at the end of each presentation. You must login to www.pharmcon.com and complete the evaluations no later than Friday September 28, 2018 to get CE credit for the sessions you attend. No exceptions.

  • All refund requests must be made in writing and postmarked no later than June 15, 2018. A $100 cancellation fee per registrant will be charged. No cancellations will be refunded after June 15, 2018.
  • Due to the educational nature of this program, children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the meeting/session room. This policy is established to avoid disruptions during the programming, reduce liability, and help maintain ASCP’s professional learning environment.
